Ismaël Khelifa, born in Annecy, is a French journalist and television host. Ismaël Khelifa studied journalism at the IUT of Tours then worked at Radio France and France Inter in the fields of politics and economics. In 2003 he discovered Iceland, became passionate about the polar regions and became a naturalist guide. He notably co-wrote stories with the adventurer Nicolas Dubreuil. In 2012, Ismaël turned to television and joined the team of the show Rendez-vous en terre unknown on France 2 and then Our unknown lands for which he did location scouting. From 2017 to 2018, he wrote the tourism section of the program La Quotidienne on France 5. Since 2019, following the departure of Raphaël de Casabianca, he has presented Échappées belles on France 5, alternating with Sophie Jovillard, Jérôme Pitorin and Tiga. With his wife Alice Khelifa-Gastine (Ushuaïa TV), he created the association For my Planet. He is one of the ambassadors of the association Un enfant par la main and author of books for young people. |
