Peter Lyle Algiers is an American director and screenwriter. He was born and raised in Burbank, California. The youngest of 7, Peter was deemed a prodigy at a young age when it was discovered that he could recite all of the presidents by memory at the age of 2. Peter was always considered to be very intelligent in spite of getting average grades in school. He quickly developed a love for film when he started studying historic and culturally significant movies at the age of 10. By the age of 16, he was a self-made film-historian. Around this time, Peter developed a love for music, teaching himself how to play the piano and writing his own songs. Peter became a business professional right out of high-school, gaining a decade of office/managerial experience. While he never completed college, he did work his way from entry-level to the top of his department in two different industries, proving to be of many talents. He never forgot his love of film, and has continued to write and direct, even while working other full-time jobs. He has self-produced a number of short films over the years and is now producing feature-length movies. |
