Raised in Washington, D.C., and California, Fennoy attended Denison University, in Ohio, where, she says, she always “pimped out” her dorm rooms. After graduating, she attended New York’s Pratt Institute and studied interior and furniture design in Denmark. She earned a master’s degree in interior design and she says that experience really taught her how harnessing the “power of design” can completely change the feel of a room. Danielle went on to hone her custom designs, creating residential spaces for high profile clients at a prestigious New York City firm. In 2008 she founded Brooklyn-based Revamp Interior Design, where she gained national recognition through appearances as a design expert on HGTV’s Bang For Your Buck and My Favorite Place. She was also named one of House Beautiful’s Next Wave of Top Designers. |
