Overview: Childhood is a period of enormous physical, mental and emotional development. Young children are very aware of the changes they are experiencing and can gain understanding of these changes by watching the physical development of animals and plants. The life-cycle of a frog is a great example of physical change over time. Young children can learn a lot about the growing process by observing and learning about the way tadpoles slowly develop into frogs. This week in Play School we learn all about frogs through movement, song and creative play. |
