Overview: Early childhood is a period of new discoveries as children explore the world around them and the opportunities it brings. An adventure can be as simple as finding new possibilities, from playing with a cardboard box to taking a trip somewhere new, or adventuring to faraway places in stories and in the world of imagination. Young children are generally keen adventurers eager to explore new objects, places and ideas. They are also very skilled at discovering new possibilities and imaginary places while staying safely at home and playing with familiar objects and toys in new and adventurous ways. In this series the presenters and toys explore all sorts of possibilities for play and investigation in a world of Play School adventures.
