Overview: Valerian and Laureline are hired to transport drazel eggs to a safe haven. Easy enough, except that whoever hears a drazel cry is doomed to laugh to death and the babies are due to hatch in 24 hours. Flying a shortcut through the dangerous route 188 leads to an asteroid collision and the loss of precious time.
