Overview: Around a fifth of Mongolia's population is employed part-time or full-time in livestock farming and it is also the world's 2nd largest producer of raw cashmere, responsible for 40% of the global output. In spite of Mongolia's abundance of raw cashmere, it suffers from a shortage of facilities to manufacture products for sale.
