Overview: Pinit, a successful Thai businessman and sports celebrity, turned his life upside down when he decided, at the age of 45, to become a woman -- Pauline. Her book, "Too Tight Shoes" speaks about her experience coming to terms with, and finally embracing, her gender identity. Pauline's journey to becoming a woman involved many painful decisions, including parting with her wife and daughter. She also strove to win the understanding of her parents. Eventually, she found a way to rebuild a family life, helping her ex-wife to run a restaurant. In this program, we follow a transgender woman's search for her true identity and her efforts to hold on to the people she loved.
