Overview: Ken Reed, once a big name actor in Hollywood, refuses to accept that he's no longer the star he thinks he is. Even though he hasn't had a film role in two years, he continues to live lavishly, even refusing a supporting part on Broadway because it's beneath him. He is given one last chance at career redemption, and it hinges on a successful test for television.
