Overview: P.C. Stringer chases a girl, on foot, who has stolen goods from a jewellers but P.C. Stamp arrests her because she was in a car. Stamp gets bullied, as does Inspector Monroe, by the jeweller when he returns the jewelery. Stringer feels fingers pointing at him when a necklace is still missing. D.C. Dashwood investigates the theft of a hire car later used in a crime.
