Overview: An uneven but generally entertaining end-of-year report on 2004, filtered through the satirical gaze of Armando Iannucci and his team. Some of the material hit home - particularly the news footage of US politicians, re-edited to create a montage of scare-mongering catchphrases - and the whole concoction was a refreshing antidote to the standard one-dimensional retrospectives clogging the schedules every December.
