Overview: Fourteen-year-old Matthew Sperber flew home from a fishing trip in the Bahamas with his father and a family friend, when suddenly, their small plane developed engine problems and nose-dived into the Atlantic. Each of the passengers clung to lifejackets and they were stranded in the water for two days. When a small plane passed, Matthew was able to produce foam, by kicking the water, and successfully grabbed the passing plane's attention.
