Overview: Thee uncle of thirteen-year-old Shawna Trantham, while celebrating Christmas, decided to take his relatives in his plane to view all the lights. As they were flying over the canyon, the plane's engine died, and eventually crashed at the bottom of the canyon. All her relatives were hurt, however, Shawna was able to escape and call for help.
