Overview: In the first part of the long route from Sydney to Perth the journey first goes from the outskirts of Sydney with the Zig Zag Railway through the mountains of The Blue Mountains. Then the tour starts with the Indian Pacific from Sydney via Broken Hill to Adelaide where a boat trip is made to Kangaroo Island.
