Overview: Buck Slater, youthful singing sensation, makes a return visit to his small home town in he south, accompanied by a woman magazine writer named Shirley. Shirley wants to write the real Story of Buck as he was before he left for the big-time. Buck has a score to settle with the town and when a youngster is accused of a series of thefts, Buck offers to take the boy under his wing.
