Overview: Dana and Rose are best friends with traits that complement each other- Rose is rich but slow-witted, and Dana is smart but poor. Both girls are eager to fulfill their dreams together as they are about to graduate from high school. But a grim encounter takes place on their prom night when Dana's cousin Nilo rapes Rose.
