Overview: Ludovico De Millet and his wife Nora Virili are victims of an attempted robbery in their villa on the outskirts of Turin and the aggressor, Paolo Ratti, is shot to death by the landlord. Inspector Valeria Ferro's investigations establish a relationship between the victim and Ludovico. Ratti, fired by De Millet, who may have acted in revenge. But the situation gets complicated when Valeria finds compromising photos of Nora in the robber's house.
