Overview: Shiv promises Parvati that her fast will not be broken because of him in the future again. Parvati goes to a secluded spot and begins her tapasya. Vishnu appears before Parvati and fulfils her wish: Parvati will bear a child who bears all the qualities of the Shiv, Vishnu, and Brahma.
