Overview: Popeye buys a do-it-yourself kit and makes a mechanical servant. It continues its mechanical duties all through the night, pouring tea on Popeye, mixing salad in his mouth and tossing other items. It lights a match, causing Popeye to awaken blowing flames. Popeye ends by putting the mechanical servant in workshop vice. Popeye then does his own house work in an uncomplaining manner.
