Overview: Vali and Neel team up in order to trap Maruti and bring an end to him. Sugreev sees Vali speak to Neel and understand that Vali is making a plan to harm Maruti. Vali Informs all the children that a grand competition will be held that will test the valour and courage of all. Maruti and the others immediately agree to take part in this competition and agree to reach the spot decided by Vali. Later, Maruti goes home and learns that his mother has prepared a new dress. He gets upset when his father teasingly decides to keep the dress for himself.
