Fred Khasigian was named to the Dean’s List six times and received the Football Alumni Club Award as the senior with the highest GPA. He also earned Academic All-America honors in 1969. A two-time First Team All-Pac-8 selection, Khasigian helped the USC Trojans to a 29-2-2 record, three conference titles, two Rose Bowl victories and a National Championship in 1967 under College Football Hall of Fame head coach John McKay. He earned his medical degree from USC in 1974 and his MBA at California State University-Sacramento in 2003. Khasigian played rugby while at USC and went on to play at the Santa Monica Rugby Club from 1970-76 and the Sacramento Men’s Club from 19-1996. He won the Rugby Club National Championship with Santa Monica. Khasigian is now the director and head coach of the Jesuit High School (Calif.) Rugby Program. He began the program in 1997 and has grown it into a National powerhouse, with more than 140 boys participating in two different leagues at the Varsity and JV levels. He has led the Marauder teams to seven National High School Championships in 1999, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013.
