Beau Greaves (born 9 January 2004) is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. She is the back-to-back two-time ladies' world champion having won the 2022 WDF World Darts Championship and 2023 WDF World Darts Championship. In August 2022, Greaves made her debut at the 2022 PDC Women's Series and won four consecutive finals, becoming the first player to do so. She subsequently won four more consecutive finals to end the year with a record eight straight Women's Series titles. On 26 February 2023 her winning streak of 70 PDC Women's Series match wins en suite came to an end as she lost to Mikuru Suzuki in the Quarter Final of event 3. In the end Greaves won twelve of the 24 Women's Series events of the year. In 2024 Beau Greaves beat Sebastian Białecki in the final at the MODUS Super Series week nine making her the first woman to win a MODUS week and the first player to go unbeaten during a whole week. She topped the Rankings in Group B and in her 4–1 win over Kevin Painter, she broke the record for the highest televised average by a female player, averaging 114.56 and hitting six 180s along the way. This was her debut. On 21 July 2024, she defeated Fallon Sherrock 6-3 in the Women's World Matchplay final at Blackpool's Winter Gardens making herself a back-to-back champion of the event. Due to an announcement by the PDC to not allow players who qualified for the PDC World Darts Championships to participate at the WDF World Darts Championships the year before, she had to chose between the Womans World Championship and the prestigious PDC World Championship, which led her to opt for the women's event both times in 2023 and 2024. In April 2019, Beau Greaves, aged 15, threw a 9-dart finish at a tournament in her hometown of Doncaster. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |
